As stated in a recent “Sky” report, the future of the goalkeeper at FC Schalke 04 should still be completely open. Loris Karius had only signed a half -year contract in Gelsenkirchen in winter and wanted to acclimatize again as a contractless professional after several months.
In February and March he also played four second division games for Schalke 04, showing appealing services. At the away game in Fürth (3: 3), however, he pulled a muscle injury in the calf in the first half and has failed since then.
According to information from the TV station, there has been no concrete conversations between the S04 managers and Karius has been exposed to an extension of the contract that expires in the summer.
