Zoë Kravitz would have remembered almost as a problematic guest in Taylor Swift’s house. Snake disappears in the bathroom
“She was so nice to let me live with her,” said Kravitz. “My mother lives in Topanga Canyon, and I said: ‘No, that’s too dangerous. Come here.’ My mother has a house snake, and she came with her evacuation luggage – and in the end we stayed a beautiful house.
The stay was pleasant, up to Kravitz’s last day. “I wanted to go, my mother wanted to stay. I packed my things and said to her: ‘I want to be a good guest, leave everything better than I found it.’ I was at the bottom.
Above in the bathroom, Kravitz learned that her mother’s snake Orpheus had “found a small hole in the corner”. Moderator Meyers joked: “This is a construction error – you can’t have a snake hole in the house.”
Bathroom is destroyed to save the snake
“The hole was next to a seat built into the wall with two drawers at the bottom,” said Kravitz. “My mother captured the tail of the snake – they are all muscle, very strong. We didn’t know what to do. The snake crawled further and further, I panicked.” She compared it to the scene in Jurassic Park, in which branches break when the car continues.
Finally, they called Kravitz ‘assistant and the property manager, who was not very enthusiastic. “He fetches a breakage and begins to take the bank apart. We tore tiles, scratched the walls, destroyed completely Taylors Bad. I thought: either we ruin the bathroom or I tell her that there is a snake in the house.”
In the end, Kravitz promised the property manager to pay all the damage and asked not to say anything until everything was repaired. “I called her and said in a high voice: ‘I wanted to talk to you about something.’ And she said, ‘Do you mean the fact that you almost lost a snake in my house and destroyed my bathroom?’ “
