As expected, Slovenia claimed a full pot from San Marino in the late fight of qualifying group H. The match was already 0-2 after a quarter of an hour and ended 0-4.
They excelled as painters Zan Vipotnik, Jan Mlakar, Sandi Lovric and Zan Karnicnik.
Slovenia topped the group, level on points with Denmark. Finland, who bowed to Denmark earlier in the evening, fell to third place.
Each team still has four matches to play. Finland will visit Slovenia in the next qualifying window, in mid-October.
