Daniel Tschofenig is at home on the world’s ski jumps. His girlfriend also knows his way around there.

For Daniel Tschofenig, everything looks like a perfect season. The ski jumping star from Austria won the four-hill tour this year and is also ahead in the World Cup overall ranking before the last competitions in Planica. He also found his luck privately.

His girlfriend is not a stranger – on the contrary. Alexandria Loutitt knows the ski jumps of this world as well as her partner. The 21-year-old Canadian ski jumper became world champion in 2023 and won bronze with the mixed team at the 2022 Olympics.

Despite the distance, the winter sports couple masters the distance well. While Tschofenig lives in Innsbruck, Loutite spends most of her time in Slovenia. Alex Loutitt supports her friend where she can and, after her competition, also traveled to Bischofshofen in January, when she saw her partner triumphed.

This was also pleased Tschofenig, who explained in the Austrian radio show “Breakfast with me”: “That meant a lot to me.” If the couple does not see each other, it communicates in other ways. “Facetime is very popular with us,” said the 22-year-old ski jumping star.

At the wedding, Tschofenig does not want to think yet: “Let’s see what the future brings. I am still young, I don’t want to manifest anything.” In conversation with the Austrian “Kurier”, Tschofenig also said a few years ago that he and Loutitt regularly exchange ideas and give each other tips. The Carinthian also emphasized: “We don’t talk about ski jumping all day.”

The couple also divides together on Instagram together snapshots and couple photos. No matter whether in the outdoor pool or in front of the Christmas tree, the two ski jumping stars seem to have a good time together.
