– In the gym, I develop strength levels and endurance. They are already at a moderate level because I compete with the best in the world. But everything can be better.
Lehto has been able to practice summer weeks healthy.
Far from home

Lehto is training for the third summer on the National Team of Switzerland. A man’s sport cannot even be properly practiced in Finland, which is why you have to look for places to go far – and with money.
-Unfortunately, the South American camp is not on the preliminary calendar this summer. If you need it, then of course I’ll go there. If the conditions here in Zermatt remains good, I will not go to South America. In the Alps, Zermatt is practically the only place for the summer where you can practice speed. There are now good conditions here, says Lehto.
-Later in the autumn, Saas-Fee and Pitztal are also in theory also functional training places in our sport.
The economy stable

Lehto has previously said in the public domain that the seasonal budget is about 200,000 euros. Lehto, together with Skisport Finland, buys a training place and services from the Swiss Ski Association and practices with the country’s speed team.
The cost of a man’s season has hardly decreased from the previous one.
– My economic situation is quite stable. Work is done to make it better all the time. Funds and forms of cooperation must be found. This is about my work.
– It’s come a long way since I started this job. But there is no complaint about the financial side.
The representative counters of the Finnish national team are allowed to sell some of their own partner advertisements.
– There are one of two of your own partners in the race dress, and the number of warm -ups is probably from two to three. It has racing visibility places, but then there are other forms of cooperation, such as social media, Lehto opens.

Lehto will continue next season with Fischer skis and many.
