The police of Kurçë, a city in southeastern Albania – not far from the border with Greece and North Macedonia – has published two photos of the alleged abuse.
The man can be seen there, while he drags the girl on her hair for some time. Next to him, a woman, possibly the child’s mother, who says nothing and does not intervene.
The images, who is distinguished as disturbing, were first shared on social media, and thus also came into the sights of the police in the area. The police now own the original images and immediately went looking for the man who would be guilty of the open mistreatment of the girl.
The two people were soon identified and traced, after which the man – who turned out to be the girl’s father – had to come to the desk to give text and explanation about his brutal behavior. The woman – who can be seen with headscarves on the images – also had to report to agents to make a statement.

Their first interrogations showed that the man is the biological father of the young child. He has been identified as the 33-year-old Dutchman Mu why the two were in Albania was not announced, they may have been on vacation in the region.
After the first interrogations, the file was sent to the Public Prosecution Service of the Court of First Instance in Korçë. There it was determined that a criminal case against MU should be started.

The police continue their investigation to fully map all the backgrounds of the incident, and immediately make a clamping appeal to citizens in Albania to immediately report cases of violence or abuse against children.
