The funeral? A celebration of love
The actress repeats it, she would like to live much longer. She also aims to achieve her goals, including raising money for cancer research. But she can’t help but think about the time when he will no longer be here. And so she, thinking of her funeral, she reveals that she would like to something like “a love fest”. Nothing dark or sad, but a raucous house party. And he points out: “Only a few people.”
A list with few guests
«There’s a lot of people that I think would show up that I don’t want there» says Shannen Doherty. «I don’t want them there because their reasons for showing up aren’t necessarily the best. For example, he doesn’t like me enough to show up at my funeral” he explains “But they will do it, because it’s the politically correct thing to do and they don’t want to make a bad impression, so I want to take the pressure off him and I want my funeral to be like a love celebration. I don’t want people to cry or privately say, ‘Thank God she’s dead.'” A party, therefore, for which the actress has already prepared the guest list: «This is the shortest list. I can’t give you a list of who I don’t want because it’s too long » she quips.
The ashes with the dog and the father
The actress then reveals that she wants to be cremated. AND he wants his ashes to be united with those of his dog and his father and then scattered in Malibu. I’m horrified that I can’t maintain a relationship,” she said in her podcast. But she still believes in love. And she doesn’t hide her never-realized desire to have children. «The truth is that I have always wanted a child. But will I be there in five years? And in 10? I don’t want my 10-year-old daughter to have to bury her mother».
