Several dead cows were found last night at an agricultural company in Hooghalen. It is not yet clear what exactly happened on the Beilerweg, but it would be a problem with the power supply.
The police and the Drenthe Security Region do not want to comment on the incident. They refer to grid operator Enexis. It is not yet known how many cows are dead.
Enexis announces that it was on site last night. “Last night we received a report from a customer who had problems with the electricity. There were indeed problems. It concerned the indoor installation, but that is not our responsibility. We are the grid operator. Our responsibility stops at the customer’s connection. Where you are at home call the electrician, that’s not our business.”
The owner of the cows was not yet reachable.
