It’s a turn that smiles on Vicenza, able to emerge with the three points from the treacherous away match in Crema thanks to the goal of substitute Pellizzari (Pergolettese ends with nine men, Lambrughi sent off in the first half and Cordaro at the end). The fifth away success allows the league leaders to get back within 12 points over second-placed Lecco. One point behind is Brescia, back to success with Corini on the bench: at Fontanafredda, the Dolomiti Bellunesi pitch, Cazzadori solves the problem with time up. Cittadella remains fourth, recovering two goals against Novara – Khailoti sent off – with the final 2-2 secured by Falcinelli’s return to scoring (after a year). After more than a month, Ospitaletto returns to success with the signatures of Guarneri and Messaggi. Even if the ranking situation remains desperate, Tesser’s Triestina goes wild and scores five against AlbinoLeffe with braces from Gunduz and Ionita. Bitter debut for Bolzoni on the Pro Patria bench, in Arzignano Nanni solves it following a cue from Minesso.

The 0-0 draw between Guidonia and Ascoli was lively, a match between the fourth (surprise) and third forces in the group. At the end of a full week, between qualification for the semi-finals of the Italian Cup and a five-point penalty, Ternana does not lose its bearings and wins again, overcoming Bra with Ferrante and Orellana. Pontedera and Sambenedettese move up the rankings at a complex moment in their season.

At the top: Floro Flores’ Benevento beats Giugliano (a brace from a super Simonetti, who also gives an assist) in a match without history and thus reaches Catania, who returned from Potenza with just one point. Mimmo Toscano’s team is unable to exploit their numerical superiority – Bruschi was sent off in the first half – and suffers from two goals disallowed for offside in the final stages (more than a few doubts, especially about the first, by Rolfini, with an offside assessment confirmed by FVS). Behind the big teams, Casertana confirmed itself by overturning Latina in the second half thanks to Coppitelli’s substitutions and De Ciancio’s expulsion. Nice move from Sorrento, regenerated by the Serpini treatment, on the Atalanta U23 pitch: D’Ursi was decisive with an assist and a goal. Draw in the evening between Altamura and Cerignola.
