Serie B, Reggina and Lecco out: the decision of the Guarantee College

The decisions of the Guarantee Board regarding the appeals for registrations in the Serie B and C championships arrived in the evening. The Section of the Sports Guarantee Board, chaired by the president Tammaro Maiello, president of the Section of the Court of Auditors, rejected the appeal by Siena (which is therefore out of Serie C); declared Reggina’s appeal partly inadmissible and partly unfounded (it remains outside B); declared Foggia’s appeal against Lecco inadmissible, finally accepted Perugia’s appeal against the Figc, Lega di B and Lecco for “the cancellation of the official press release from the Federation” relating to the “consequent admission” of the Lombard club to the next championship Serie B. Lecco which is therefore out of Serie B and could restart from the Third Category. The reasons for the sentence will be published by Thursday 20th.

However, the last two ways to assert one’s reasons remain: the appeal to the Tar and to the Council of State.
