Serie A: Roma madness in added time

With two goals in stoppage time, AS Roma secured their fifth win of the season in the Italian Serie A, which was no longer thought possible.

Only Sardar Azmoun equalized against US Lecce (90th + 1), after the goal from the loan from Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen, Romelu Lukaku scored to make the final score 2-1 (90th + 4).

“It was a crazy game that could have gone either way. It ended in our favor,” said Rome’s star coach Jose Mourinho on “DAZN”. Lukaku missed a penalty in the early stages (6th).

The Swede Pontus Almqvist gave Lecce the lead (71st). Azmoun scored with a header to make it 1-1, it was the Iranian’s first Serie A goal.
