Taylor Swift congratulates Gomez and signs up as a flower girl for Blanco’s wedding.
Selena Gomez is engaged to her partner Benny Blanco. The singer and actress enthusiastically shared the news on her Instagram account.
“Now eternity begins…”
On Wednesday (December 11th), the 32-year-old wrote: “Now eternity begins…” In her pictures, she presented, among other things, her engagement ring, which is adorned with a large gemstone and smaller glittering stones. There was also a shared photo with Blanco, the music producer.

Taylor Swift wants to be the flower girl
The 36-year-old Blanco commented under the “Emilia Pérez” actress’s post: “Hey wait… That’s my wife.” The rest of the comment section was flooded with congratulations. Including well-known personalities such as Taylor Swift. She joked: “Yes, I will be the flower girl”. “Emily in Paris” actress Lily J. Collins also took part, saying: “Ahhhhhhhh yes yes yes!! The best news ever. I couldn’t be more happy for you both.”
Gomez also appeared in a video on her Instagram story that same evening. Here the “Only Murders in The Building” actress was seen apparently making a video call with an unknown person on her cell phone. She proudly held her hand and engagement ring up to the camera. Gomez: “I said ‘yes’ to it.” The person on the other end of the phone audibly cheered and replied, “It’s so beautiful.”
According to the New York Post, Gomez and Blanco have been together for at least a year and a half.
Gomez can currently be seen in cinemas
Since November 28th, Gomez can also be seen in front of the camera in the musical film “Emilia Pérez” on the big screen. Here she plays the character of Jessi Del Monte. The film tells the story of a Mexican drug lord who wants to turn away from crime and live as a woman. Karla Sofia Gascón took on the leading role, who is also nominated for Best Actress at the 2024 Golden Globes for her performance.
