There was a lot of fuss about the Amazon Prime soap about the life of the fallen soap star Ferry Doedens, because it ended rather poorly: he is doing very poorly. Will there be a sequel?

We all know how far Ferry Doedens has fallen. The actor once had a successful role in Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden, but went on hiatus and ruined it all himself. He did not keep his appointments and was fired from the RTL 4 soap. The result? He started making dirty videos at the sink to post on OnlyFans.

Second series?

Meanwhile, Ferry’s spicy adventure is no longer so successful, because that boy looks like a junkie. Then he has a fat lip again, then a fat cheek again. He has been caught behind the wheel several times with hard drugs, including the debilitating crystal meth, and is currently serving community service for this.

Will that make for fun content for a second season of his Amazon Prime soap? “I wouldn’t do it all. Just leave that boy alone for a while and become normal for a while, so to speak,” says Privé star journalist Jan Uriot in the podcast Strictly Private.

Well supervised

Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden wonders whether things will ever work out for Ferry. “Do you think that will still work?”

Jan is hopeful. “Yes, that can still work, but he has to be properly supervised. I wouldn’t spend too much time fiddling around in the media again. Just let it rest for five years, then he will come forward and then he might have a nice relationship, I don’t know. That’s all possible, but leave it alone for the time being.”

Lonely existence

You should help such a person in peace and not chase them with a camera, says Jan. “I think there is too much for him to do for the time being.”

Jordi points out that Ferry only has contact with his former manager, since even his mother has turned her back on him. “So he really does lead a lonely existence.”

Jan concludes: “Yes, that is sad. You should certainly not put cameras there. I certainly don’t think that is appropriate.”
