Sean “Diddy” Combs used his time in prison to do fellow prisoners in corporate management, entrepreneurship and, Basically, to teach how you become more like Sean “Diddy” Combs.
A course of success – and the ego
The curriculum for the “Free Game With Diddy” course was submitted together with experience reports from participants and a positive assessment of the responsible social worker at the court. The goal of Combs’ lawyers is clear. A mild judgment after his conviction for two cases of severe prostitution.
The six -week course is described as “educational program that imparts essential skills in corporate management, entrepreneurship and personal development”. Combs narrowly linked the content with his own career. From modest beginnings to global mogul.
The course overview consisted of keywords from the business world. “Successful People Do What unsucceSSCESS People Won’t do”, followed by sub -items such as “No Ego”, “Out Work the Competition” and “Ego – The Conscious Self”. Further sessions carried titles such as “Just Do IT” (short -term goals, planning), “Time Waits for No Man” (meaning of deadlines) or “The Marathon 26.2” (long -term, responsibility, price of success). As a bonus there was “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” – with the key points “Don’t Stop” and “Never Give Up”.
Between self-help, career coach and cult figure
A task: Write an essay that combined teaching from Combs’ life path, personal knowledge and methods for long -term goals. However, critics complain that the course contained nothing about Combs’ private scandals or history. After the video was broadcast, in which he beat his then partner Cassie in 2016, Combs spoke of therapy and rehab. However, research by the Rolling Stone later made further allegations of abuse.
Nevertheless, co -breeds were enthusiastic. “Because this course exists, I have a purpose,” wrote one. Another said: “They are the small adjustments in everyday life that bring big changes.” Several emphasized that Combs had highlighted the importance of realistic goals and humility.
Praise the fellow inmates – and open questions
“Even behind bars and with limited means, I saw how this man causes magical,” wrote one participant. “He created unity between all ethnic groups.”
Judge Arun Subramanian decides on October 3 whether the program will influence the judgment. The central question remains. Is it a win if a man who is also considered a successful entrepreneur and the convicted violent perpetrator teaches others to emulate him?
