Chancellor Olaf Scholz will be on a summer trip to his Brandenburg constituency next week.

In his function as a member of the SPD Bundestag, he wants to get together with firefighters, public utility representatives, the Johanniter accident aid and artists. This was announced by Scholz’s Bundestag office on Saturday. It was said that he wanted to devote himself to the question of how the challenges of the future would be shaped.

The constituency stations as part of his summer trip are scheduled for August 10th and 12th. A conversation with citizens is scheduled for Wednesday evening in Michendorf. It had previously become known that Scholz also wanted to talk to citizens in Neuruppin on August 17th.

Scholz lives with his wife, the Brandenburg Education Minister Britta Ernst (SPD), in Potsdam. In the 2021 federal election, he won the mandate for constituency 61 (Potsdam – Potsdam-Mittelmark II – Teltow-Fläming II).
