The gap between the average pension and the cost of an average residential care center – currently 2,359 euros per month – has become even wider in the past year. This was evident from the barometer of OKRA, the Christian seniors’ association within Beweging.net, on Thursday. The annual assessment maps the cost price of residential care centers in Flanders and Brussels.
