Does a Schalke professional change to the HSV free of charge?

On Saturday, Mehmet Aydin played for Schalke 04 against HSV for 60 minutes. In the coming summer, however, the 23-year-old could change pages: Hamburgers should deal with an obligation, the Turkish branch reported from “Transfer market”.
Aydin’s contract on Schalke expires at the end of June – the right outdoor car player would therefore be free on the market. He can play as a right -back, but also hold the more offensive positions on the wing. However: Bundesliga club Werder Bremen as well as the Turkish first division clubs Besiktas and Basaksehir should also be interested in Mehmet Aydin.
The 23-year-old born in Würselen comes from the Schalke youth. For the S04 professionals, he has been running in 71 competitive games so far (one goal, four templates). The 2023/24 season spent Mehmet Aydin on loan at Trabzonspor in Turkey (23 missions).
In the guest block of Hamburger SV, it became bright in the second division away game against FC Schalke 04 after around an hour: some of the fans who traveled with us ignite pyrotechnics. But it didn’t remain. Fireworks flew on the lawn and towards the home fans. Referee Harm Osmers had to briefly interrupt the game and send the players off the pitch.
HSV sports director Stefan Kuntz has no understanding for the action of parts of the Hamburg attachment. “There is a red line within the fan scene and it is exceeded when pyrotechnics leave the hand and thus become uncontrollable and dangerous,” he told the “Abendblatt”.
The spectators had already presented a banner out of trouble about the ticket prices for the last game of the second division season against SSV Ulm at the home game against Eintracht Braunschweig. Kuntz, who expects at least clarifying conversations, also knows that this crosses the boundaries. “I think the signals of the willingness that the incident on Schalke is critically processed within the fan scene is very important,” said the 62-year-old.
Magath confirms candidacy: “I am the right HSV president”
The former international Felix Magath officially confirmed his candidacy for the presidency at Hamburger SV. “I have dealt with people since last summer and have met with people from time to time to talk about it. And I think: I am the right HSV president for the next few years,” said Magath to the television station of “Welt” and “Bild”.
The 71-year-old has already submitted his application and is now waiting for feedback: “I have to wait and see whether the advisory board allows me or whether I am not allowed.” The election of the new president will take place at the general meeting of the second division club on June 21. The previous president and former Bundesliga professional Marcell Jansen (39) announced a few weeks ago not to run again.
Magath also justified his decision with the support from the Hamburg fan scene. During his visits to the Hanseatic city, he was “repeatedly addressed”: “‘Oh Mr. Magath, you have to help the HSV! Oh Mr. Magath, come back, the HSV needs you.’ That’s how it went in a tour, “said the long -time Bundesliga coach.
The HSV second division women celebrated an important victory in the promotion struggle on Easter Sunday. At the relegation threatened SG Andernach, the Hamburgers won 2-1 (0: 1).
After 25 minutes, Malou Müller had surprisingly put the hosts in the lead. The HSV women only found better into the game after the half-time break. Lotta Wrede came to the field for Amelie Woelki after 58 minutes – and scored 1-1 ten minutes later. In the 73rd minute, the Vildan Kardesler, who was also substituted substitute – came 2-1 for Lisa Baum at halftime. With this score, it should stay until the final whistle.
With now 43 points, the Marwin Bolz team is the third in the table after 22 out of 26 match days on the last promotion. SV Meppen is three points behind HSV – but with the much worse goal difference. Both teams meet on the last matchday (May 18) in the direct duel. The SG Andernach remains third to last with 18 points and has a counter behind the SV Weinberg, which would keep the class as eleventh.
