SBS 6 has sent Tino Martin home in the advertising block from Shownieuws, partly because of his cold statements about Suzan & Freek. “He has been sent away,” agrees Manuel Venderbos.
The umpteenth painful performance by Tino Martin: he apparently appeared drunk at Shownieuws last Friday evening. Stammering, Hulkelen and ‘Ehhh’, ‘Ehhh’, ‘Ehhh’: it was really artist-inefficiency. The worst was when he started about Suzan & Freek – without a sense of empathy, he shouted: “They just don’t have much time together anymore.”
Drank Tino?
The big question is: smoke Manuel Venderbos, who presented the broadcast in question, alcohol? “No. Yes, well, he was just very nervous beforehand. That is especially what I noticed. If I had to gamble in the casino: if he has alcohol or not, I would not say. Anyway, I am not a blowing test,” he says in the AD Media Podcast.
Media journalist Dennis Jansen is skeptical: “He told you, at Shownieuws, about Suzan & Freek. That’s what it was about.”
Manuel: “Yes, and then you would say: you can kick every open door you want. That is always hit. But he was very stuck in it.”
Inappropriate
Colleague Marcus den Blanken, also a media journalist, found that painful. “Yes, he actually said almost inappropriate things.”
Ad-opdiva Angela de Jong then: “He was totally insensitive, I had the idea.” Yes, my girl was through it, but yes, I can give it a place quickly. “”
Manuel: “Yes, but I had the idea that he just got in his head about what he wanted to say.”
Angela: “But you said it was nerves? Because he was so sweating and shining.”
“He moved weird”
Marcus also thought it was very strange. “He was turning on his chair all the time and he moved weird. His speech was also very slow.”
Dennis: “Yes, and he sagged and made all kinds of ways. All kinds of trips with connections and then he said this again. It was very incoherent.”
Manuel: “Yes, that’s right. I was just about next to him.”
Marcus: “He didn’t come back after the advertising break, isn’t it?”

After the advertising break, Tino suddenly disappeared. Manuel: “No, that’s right. Well, we had something like that boy that ehh …”
Angela: “We have to protect them?”
Manuel: “From: he’s not so comfortable in the game, so don’t let him sit out all the way.”
Dennis: “He would do that? He would just stay?”
Manuel: “Well, some guests leave in the advertising break and some don’t.”
Dennis: “But he would have remained in principle?”
Manuel: “In principle, I think that if he was comfortable, he would have stayed.”
Dismissed
That can only mean one thing: Tino has been removed. “But he was sent away?” Says Dennis.
Manuel agrees: “He has been sent away. I think that boy is just there … he is good at singing, but not good at talking.”
Marcus: “Well, don’t invite anymore.”
Manuel: “Yes, that was also in the evaluation, yes. If I were his management I would like to learn from this: we may not have to do live talk shows.”
What does Angela think of it? “I think he is a jerk.”
Clear language.
