FOOTBALL – ACV and Noordscheschut suffered painful defeats in the Third Division and Hoofdklasse B respectively this afternoon. ACV took the beet bridge in the very last second against ODIN’59, while Noordscheschut lost the relegation cracker against asv De Dijk 2-1.
In the 2nd class J, SC Elim beat FC Meppel (0-5), Achilles 1894 won 3-0 at NEC Delfzijl and LTC lost 4-2 to Gramsbergen at home. Leader DZOH did not play, but competitor Gorecht did. That team dropped two points in the battle for the championship. At home, a 2-2 draw against SV Bedum.
ZZVV is the leader in the 3rd class D. Nieuwleusen won this afternoon and is now two points ahead of the Zuidwolde formation that did not play this afternoon. Hoogeveen climbed to 3rd place with a 4-1 win over Lutten.
