Sarah Dzafce has decided to turn a new page in her life with the turn of the year.
Former Miss Finland Sarah Dzafce lost his crown earlier in December as a result of racism. The commotion started when Dzafce stretched his eyes in a picture taken by his friend. The picture went viral and a huge racist outcry arose.
Before the press conference announcing Dzafce’s loss of the Miss crown, Dzafce apologized on social media.
However, the apology post has now been removed. In the publication, Dzafce did not directly refer to racism, but apologized for his behavior.
– I want to speak directly to you now. I fully understand that my actions have upset many people and I am deeply sorry for that. I especially want to apologize to those who have been personally affected by this situation. It was not my intention in any way, Dzafce wrote, among other things.
The disappearance of the publication in question caught the attention of some, for example in the anonymous messaging application Jodel. Iltalehti reached out to Dzafce to comment on the matter.
– Maybe now that the new year is coming, such a new chapter will also begin in my life and in my social media brand. I thought to leave the old winds behind me and look towards a bright future, says Dzafce.

New winds are really blowing, but Dzafce doesn’t agree to be swayed by them just yet.
– New work patterns are coming and everything nice is planned. I’m really looking forward to the new year and to be able to plan more and implement ideas little by little.
– I won’t reveal it yet, but everything cool is coming, Dzafce is excited about his news.
Dzafce can’t even reveal what kind of things the ongoing projects are related to. The pageant organization is no longer related to Dzafce’s planned cooperation patterns.
He was recently seen in a new role when Dzafce was the main interviewer for the Ice Cage 6 fight night on Boxing Day.

Dzafce says that the assignment was a project he liked.
– I was so taken and happy when I heard that they might want me there. I’ve liked watching martial arts and have practiced them myself, so it was just my thing. It was really natural and I liked it, says Dzafce.

For the coming year, Dzafce doesn’t exactly have any wishes or expectations listed.
– I always hope that you stay healthy and well and that your loved ones stay healthy. I never really have any other wishes for the new year, he sums up.
– I’m looking forward to getting down to work. It feels like we have to wait for tomorrow and celebrate the new year with friends and then after that we can get going, says Dzafce.
Earlier, Dzafce told Iltalehte how after the commotion, he has also received threatening messages.
– Those [viestit] they have never been in my mind anyway, but there are still all kinds of messages here and there, Dzafce acknowledges.
However, Dzafce wants to especially thank those who supported him.
