The mother’s reaction was instantaneous: without hesitation she dived into the void to reach her. As confirmed by a company spokesperson to the magazine Peoplethe little girl «went away from her mother briefly and she fell into the water», adding that the woman “she immediately dived after her”, transforming a potential drama into a test of extreme courage.

The scene, captured in a TikTok video that went viralshows the excited moments of recovery. As the crowd watched with bated breath, the crew intervened by throwing life jackets and lowering a ladder. Once brought back to the pier amid the applause of the passengers, the two were assisted by the on-board medical team. Despite the great fear and moments of anguish, both are in good physical conditionalthough visibly affected by what happened.

It was the protagonist herself who recounted the pain after the fear, in a comment reported by Peoplethanked for the support received: «My children and I have a long road ahead of us to heal from this traumatic situation».
