Santiago Caputo, the influential presidential advisor, found in digital anonymity a way to express his crudest opinions and anticipate political and economic movements of the Government. The new account attributed to him on the social network As an avatar, he has a photo of Thomas Shelby from the Peaky Blinders.
One of the most recurrent uses of the anonymous account is to identify and point out those who are considered obstacles to the “mileist emancipatory process.” When Guillermo Francos resigned as Chief of Staff in November 2025, @Somebody1473769 wrote: “If you are sadly fired by Savoia, Silvia Mercado, Joaquín Morales Solá, Carlos Pagni and all those guys who for months were operating against the government, it is because you were doing something strange. It makes me sick to be the only one who connects the dots.”
In another tweet also published in November 2025, the account created a “Top Ten Enemies of the Mileist Emancipation Process”, which included figures such as Paolo Rocca, Fernán Saguier, Carlos Pagni, Horacio Rosatti, Silvio Robles – spokesperson of the Court -, Héctor Magnetto, Jorge Fontevecchia, Mauricio Macri, Pablo Toviggino and Sergio Massa. “Those are the real enemies of the popular government of President Javier G. Milei. That group of people, with their networks, partners and employees,” he stated.
Turks. Perhaps where the account shows its most brutal side is in the references to cousins Martín and “Lule” Menem. Without mentioning them directly, he defines them as “the Turks.” He calls one of them “The Limited One from Türkiye.” Everything indicates that it would be Martín.
In a message from December 2025, he wrote: “The obsession that ‘El Limitado de Turkey’ has can only be explained by issues of a repressed sexual nature or by decades of postponed consumption. Thank your God that we exist.” The level of sarcasm and contempt contrasts with the silence that the account maintains regarding Karina Milei, the President’s sister and general secretary of the Presidency, whom it never criticizes even in its most cryptic way.
Caputo is known for his interest in financial markets. On February 18 of this year, the account posted: “$GGAL is going to $140 in a short time. Final destination $200 of paper counterfeited by the Federal Reserve.” The reference is to the action of Banco Galicia. This recommendation is striking because, in parallel, the Anses Sustainability Guarantee Fund (FGS) also increased its participation in that entity from 16.8% to 22.5%.
Another of the most revealing aspects of the @Somebody1473769 account is that it functions as a laboratory of ideas that later migrate to official communication. On January 4, 2026, days after the United States captured then-Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, the account wrote: “Globalization and multilateralism are dead. Welcome to the new Imperial Age of Nations.” Four months later, on May 13, Caputo expressed a similar but more measured concept from his official account: “The world is heading towards a kind of competition between the Great Nations to see who can get the best possible supply chain for their respective economies.”
Reading the anonymous account of Santiago Caputo allows us to understand what the presidential advisor’s real thoughts are, without the filters of institutional communication.
Furthermore, @Somebody1473769 is not just a troll account: it is a political instrument that is read by its followers as the voice of an influencer who downloads a message and reveals the true priorities, obsessions and strategies of the Milei government. It is an account with few followers, at the close of this edition it had just over a thousand, but each of those followers knows that it is not a fake account, nor is it a normal person at home commenting on the news. On the contrary, they are clear that they are reading Santiago Caputo.
The Menems repeat the trick
The Menem also play the same game: they defend and attack from anonymity on
When the lists of judges were sent to the Senate, @PraetorLeon ironically: “45 days: 120 sheets. 365 x 2 = 730 days = 0 sheets. The anger is understandable.”
In another tweet, @CenturionDCX celebrated that “since they banned the kid from getting into Congress everything is flowing in both chambers.”
The interaction of the two accounts is absolute. What one writes is shared by the other and vice versa. The internal one is settled in X.
