From the photos shared by the Prime Minister, you can see that it was a festive occasion. The Finnish politician also got to go up on stage himself and gave a speech to the party audience.

– Speaking to more than 30,000 people, graduates and their loved ones at Yankee Stadium was a great privilege and something I will remember for the rest of my life, Marin commented on the occasion on Instagram.

In her speech, Marin recalled how she once wanted to change the world. At the same time, he listed several things threatening the world, such as climate change and the return of war to Europe.

– These questions are about values. Everyone has to choose their side, because there is no middle ground, Marin stated in his speech.

At the same time, he has pointed out that, in his opinion, there are not enough women in leading positions.

– There are nowhere near enough young people and people from different backgrounds. The face of power does not resemble the faces of people. This has to change.

From Marin’s photos, you can see how many people are in the stadium. One of the pictures also captures an orchestra playing bagpipes. At the same time, there are group photos with representatives of the university in the photo series. During her visit, Marin has met university teachers and students.

Marini’s honorary doctorate title was reported by, among others, the American financial magazine Forbes.
