Sampdoria, one of the teams of the Italian 2nd Football League (Serie B), added Fabio Borini, who played in VavaCars Fatih Karagümrük last season.
According to the statement made by the Italian club, it was stated that a two-season agreement was reached with the 32-year-old Italian player, whose contract with the Turkish representative expired.
Borini, who played 31 matches in the league and cup with Fatih Karagümrük jersey in the 2022-23 season, performed 21 goals and 9 assists.
Sampdoria brought Andrea Pirlo, who also coached VavaCars Fatih Karagümrük last season, to the coaching position during the summer transfer window.
