In early June, Sam Smith and Madonna announced their new single, “Vulgar.” Sam Smith published the first teaser for the song on his Instagram account last week. And Madonna also posted a picture on her social media channels that looks like the single cover. It shows the artists in corsets in close-up.
Matching the title of the new song, Madonna has now uploaded a video to TikTok. The 14-second clip shows the singer dressed lasciviously and dancing. The new track can be heard in the background. “GET DOWN ON YOUR KNEES,” writes the now 64-year-old. With these pictures, it’s hard to believe that Madonna will be 65 in August. Well styled at any age.
“Let’s get into the groove / You know just what to do / Boy, get down on your knees / ‘Cause I am Madonna,” sings the “Queen of Pop” in her video, referencing her hit “Into the Groove”. from 1985. “If you f**k with Sam tonight, you’re f**king with me / So watch what you say or I’ll split your banana,” she continues. The grainy black and white filter is also a bit reminiscent of their classic music videos.

At the same time, Sam Smith uploaded a clip on his TikTok page showing the singer performing his verse. “You know you’re beautiful when they call you vulgar / I do what I wanna / I go when I gotta / I’m sexy, I’m free and I feel vulgar,” read his lyrics.
