Sabally with Phoenix Mercury in WNBA final

In 2024, Leonie Fiebich and Nyara Sabally stood in the WNBA final with the New York Liberty and won the title. A year later, the next national player gets the chance of the championship.
Satou Sabally has reached the final of the WNBA playoffs for the first time in her career and, like her sister Nyara, can now win the title last year. Germany’s best basketball player defeated the Minnesota Lynx at home 86:81 after a strong performance with the Phoenix Mercury. The hosts recovered from a 14-point deficit. Sabally got 21 points and was the most successful thrower of her team.
Due to the third win in the fourth game, the best-of-five series has been decided. In the finals that are held in the Best-of-Seven mode as in the NBA, the Mercury meet either the Las Vegas Aces or the Indiana Fever. After the 90:83 of Indiana it is 2-2 in the fourth game in the fourth game.
