S.Oliver Group: Comma product manager Francisco Droege leaves

Comma will have to do without product manager Francisco Droege in the future.

Droege, who most recently held the title of Global Business Director at the clothing brand, left the S.Oliver Group, which includes brands such as Comma and S.Oliver and Liebeskind Berlin, at the end of May on “the best mutual understanding”, it said on Tuesday Rottendorf.

Overall, Droege worked for the S.Oliver Group for almost four years. In November 2018 he joined the company in the then newly created position of Global Product Director (GPD) for the Comma brand. Two years later, in July 2020, he finally succeeded Sonja Balodis, Comma Managing Director, who was leaving the group at the time.

Comma and Comma Casual Identity report back to Balodis

Now the tables have turned, because it is Balodis who will now take over the area of responsibility again. She herself returned to Rottendorf in January as Chief Product Officer (CPO). Since then she has been responsible for the product areas of the brands S.Oliver, Comma, QS by S.Oliver and Triangle. The teams from Comma and Comma Casual Identity are now also reporting to Balodis, the clothing supplier confirmed to FashionUnited. The specialist magazine Textilwirtschaft had previously reported on this. However, it is still unclear whether this is a permanent solution. The S.Oliver Group did not want to comment on this at this time.
