Ostend Film Festival (FFO) celebrates its eighteenth edition from January 30 to February 7. After Charlotte Vandermeersch, Gene Bervoets, Natali Broods and many others, FFO welcomes actress and screenwriter Ruth Becquart as Master this year. Becquart has appeared in series such as Knokke Off, Gent-West, Chaussée d’Amour, Undercover and Twee Zomers.
With the theme ‘The stories that connect us’ she brings films that generate empathy and connection to the silver screen. Becquart selected eight films around the central theme, including ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’ by Francis Ford Coppola, ‘Portrait de la jeune fille en feu’ by Céline Sciamma and ‘Drunk’ by Thomas Vinterberg.
