The reason that Rutger Castricum is not really coming out well at Today Inside is because he is not comfortable with René van der Gijp. At least, that’s what Victor Vlam says: “He thinks he’s a l*l.”
It is quite a surprise that Rutger Castricum is suddenly a regular guest at Today Inside, because the PowNed star was verbally lynched more than a year ago by René van der Gijp. “Everything is really wrong about that, isn’t it? He has a wrong head, a wrong voice, a wrong tone and he is such an arrogant l * l dude, that guy ”, he said at the time.
Coffee with jibe
According to media connoisseur Victor Vlam, it is evident that this is still up in the air. He argues in the podcast The Communicados that Rutger would do well to have a coffee with René. “And here I come to a fundamental point, because I noticed in the last broadcast that there is almost no interaction between Van der Gijp and Rutger.”

I think he does have chemistry with Johan Derksen, but his problem is that he has no chemistry with René van der Gijp and that is strongly undermining him.”
Arrogant l*l
Victor finds it striking that VI never looked back at the statements René made about Rutger in the past. And of course both gentlemen know what has been said. “I think if I had known this, I might have thought: I might have to placate Gijp a little bit more there to win him over a little bit.”
He continues: “I think one of the reasons there is no chemistry, because Gijp in particular still thinks he is an arrogant prick and therefore does not care about him at all and that is why Rutger does not come out very well there. ”
Ingestion at René
Co-host Lars Duursma: “He just swallowed the wrong person. You said that he swallowed Johan Derksen, but he should have swallowed René van der Gijp.”
Victor: “That’s the problem. He should have swallowed René van der Gijp. Yes, exactly, exactly.”
Rutger himself denies that he would like to swallow his ‘fake laugh’ at VI. “I have always been a very big fan of this program and now I am in it. So yes: then I can not suppress a smile every now and then.”
