Rutger Castricum has not been seen in the talk show of Hélène Hendriks for some time now. Is he no longer allowed by Omroep Powned? Or are they simply more charmed by Jack van Gelder at SBS 6?
There was a time when you wondered who was Rutger Castricum’s main employer: Powned of SBS 6. He was sitting at the table with Hélène Hendriks so often that he felt more like a piece of furniture than as a sidekick. Yet we have not seen him in the show for quite some time and he has not yet passed by in the new season of the Oranjezondag.
“My hands full”
Rutger now provides clarity about his absence at De Telegraaf. “I have my hands full of extra programs and the preparation/recordings of election programs, then I will be back as soon as possible,” he says in the newspaper.
The elections are only at the end of October. Whether that means that Rutger will only join Hélène again in November is unclear.

What exactly does Hélène say about it? She says: “He will certainly return, because he belongs to the team. But when exactly I don’t know. We are now laying the agendas next to each other for the coming months.”
For the time being, Jack van Gelder is faithful to Hélène in the Oranjezondag every Sunday evening.
