Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko instructed Rostourism, together with the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to organize the export of Russian tourists who are currently abroad. At the same time, it is recommended to use humanitarian channels.
In addition, Chernyshenko instructed Rostourism to work with tour operators on the suspension of sales of tours to countries that have limited air traffic with the Russian Federation.
The agency was also instructed to prepare proposals for the organization of summer tourism in the Russian regions, writes RIA News.
According to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, more than 150,000 Russian tourists can currently be abroad. Over 27,000 of them vacation in Europe, the United States, the Caribbean and other destinations where there are problems with the return of tourists to the Russian Federation.
