Rumors about the next participants of the New Music Competition began to circulate.

The new music competition is still months away, but Yle recently announced that the competition’s participants have now been selected. Rumors are rife about who will compete for the position of Finland’s five-year representative next year.
According to Iltalehti’s insider sources, one of the participants would be Bess, who has been speculated to participate in the competition as a duo with Benjamin Peltonen.
Bess arrived on Sunday 12th October to have a look Dancing with the stars broadcast. Iltalehti met the singer before the broadcast and asked a direct question.
How do you comment on the rumors that you would be participating in this year’s UMK?
– Uu, I’m not one to hear such rumours. Tell me all about them too! Bess said with a chuckle.
Bess participated in the New Music Competition in 2022 with a song Ram bam bam. Peltonen participated in the competition the following year with a song Take care of me.

Bess danced herself Dancing with the stars – competition last year. He made it to the final in the competition.
– There are all wonderful familiar people here. I have reminded them that just for information, I have signed up for the all stars season. The dance bag is already packed!
– Just a reminder for the production that some beautiful year ago! Bess laughs.
Bess doesn’t really have a favorite among this season’s participants. He says that he encourages the competitors equally, because he appreciates the ability and contribution to the competition of every star student and teacher.
