Rucphen will receive 75 refugees in sports hall De Vijfsprong from 1 October. The sports hall will be set up as emergency emergency shelter for a maximum period of two and a half months.
Residents, companies and associations in the vicinity of the sports hall received a letter with information on Friday.
âObviously, the temporary arrival of a crisis emergency shelter has an impact on all of us. As a municipality, we are responsible for organizing this situation as best as possible. Both for the refugees and for the environment,” said Mayor Marjolein van der Meer Mohr.
