After two performances at today, Roxane Knetemann thought that she was suddenly a very large star. She took a manager, but disappeared from the spotlights. And now she is pissed off. “Isn’t it right!”
There was a time when you had to struggle through the cycling talk of Roxane Knetemann at today inside, but nowadays we never see her there again. Johan Derksen shouted this summer that she soon got a little high in her head. “He had been on TV twice and then she had a manager.”
Dead trail
Johan thinks it is a shame that Roxane has spent money on this, especially now that her TV career has ended up on a dead track. “Then I think: dude, a waste of your money. They ask 20 percent and you just throw that away.”
What does Roxane think of such a sneer from Johan? “I don’t have his comments as to experience. I know that Johan (Derksen, ed) is that way. I still think he is a nice man,” she starts Sportnieuws.nl.
“Isn’t it”
Johan Snert to make entertainment, says Roxane. “He knows well how to make his programs. If he wants to use me as an example, which is only half, I shrug my shoulders about it.”
Is she now completely done with Johan and the rest of the VI-trio? No, she wants to go back in the Talpa spotlights. “If the men invite me again, I certainly don’t say no. I think they are fantastic.”
Race director
What does Roxane do nowadays? She has recently been a race director of the new NIBC Tour of Holland that will be driven in October. She owes that to her performances at VI, she says.
“I cannot deny that VI has made my face much more famous than just my work as a commentator at the NOS. That of course had a share in my appointment as a race director of the Tour of Holland.”
