Around 10 am a few roofers will notice a fire in a house on the corner of the Churchillaan and the Torenlaan in Waregem. They call the fire brigade and can even bring someone out alive from the house. The Waregem fire station confirms this.
The fire was already under control around 10.45 am. According to the fire brigade, it is still unclear how the fire started.
