Ron Boszhard responds to the nasty rumors that circulated at the beginning of the year about his famous brother Carlo Boszhard. “I think it’s annoying for all the people who are accused.”
Carlo Boszhard was confronted with very nasty rumors at the beginning of the year. The presenter immediately decided to file a complaint against both the RoddelPraat program and juice queen Yvonne Coldeweijer. Because of the rumors, he was attacked quite a bit, including by Jan Dijkgraaf and Martijn Koning.
Raised up riot
In the end it seems to have been a storm in a teacup, because no evidence was ever presented or any people involved stood up. A stroke of luck for RTL 4, because according to experts his TV exit would have been disastrous for the channel. In the end, according to Rob Goossens, he is simply too important to be taken off the screen.
We are now nine months further and hardly anyone is talking about this Carlo riot anymore. Yet things are now being stirred up by his brother Ron Boszhard, who answers some questions about it in the Weekend.
‘He’s happy now’
Ron is especially pleased that Carlo is now doing well again. “Yes, of course it is a very nice period now, he is moving, he is getting married. Just fun.”
Does all that positivity do Carlo any good after those nasty accusations? “I don’t know that. I never really talk to him about it. But you can’t hide the fact that he is very happy now.”
Far away
It seems that Ron has never really been concerned with this annoying period for Carlo. “I’m actually far from that. Carlo has processed that all by himself and has been working on it.”
He concludes: “I have heard it and I always find it very annoying for all those people who are accused. But what else can I do about it?”
