Rolling Stones: This is what the cover of the new single “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven” looks like

On Thursday (September 28th) they published Rolling Stones “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven” is another single from the upcoming album “Hackney Diamonds”. Of course there is also cover artwork to admire.

The artwork for the single is done entirely in the style of the already well-known album cover from “Hackney Diamonds”. A drawn, held-up hand is seen sticking out of a sparkling puddle of water. There is also the words “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven” and an adaptation of the band’s iconic tongue logo.

The Rolling Stones have brought in prominent reinforcements for their new single “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven” – as both pop superstar Lady Gaga and soul legend Stevie Wonder appear on the new track. However, Wonder “only” plays the harmonica, while Lady Gaga shares vocals with Jagger.

More star guests

In addition to the feature from Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder, other star musicians will also be there. Paul McCartney plays bass on “Bite My Head Off” and Elton John hits the keys on “Get Close” and “Live By the Sword”. “Mess It Up” and “Live By the Sword” were recorded with Charlie Watts – and the latter song contains a part from former bassist Bill Wyman, which will once again present the Stones in their old quintet strength
