Roskomnadzor sent notifications to ten Russian media outlets demanding to restrict access to unreliable information “about the shelling of Ukrainian cities and the death of civilians in Ukraine”, reported on the service site.

Notifications were sent to such media as Ekho Moskvy, InoSMI, Mediazona (recognized as a foreign agent), New Times, Dozhd (recognized as a foreign agent), Free Press, Krym.Realii (recognized as a foreign agent) , Novaya Gazeta, Journalist and Lenizdat. RBC asked for comments in this media.

On these resources, “under the guise of reliable messages, socially significant information that does not correspond to reality about the shelling of Ukrainian cities and the death of civilians in Ukraine as a result of the actions of the Russian Army, as well as materials in which the ongoing operation is called an attack, invasion, or a declaration of war,” is posted.
