The experienced player of Scagha has never experienced this before. In the past, the emotions rose after a hopeless defeat, but now more of the feeling of resignation is bothering. “Normally I kick a trash can out of frustration,” says the 41-year-old routinier. “Now everyone remains positive.”
Characteristic for that is the match against Cagemax. Scagha lost no chance with 16-1, but refused to sit down. On the contrary. On the bus back to Schagen, crates of beer went through and even karaoke was sung. “Sober farmers, huh,” says keeper Sjoerd Griffioen.
The focus is now more on next season, if Scagha is most likely playing in the first division. With a new board and a plan to allow more own youth to flow, the club hopes to recover soon. “I think the future is very rosy,” says Wouter Moral. He will follow Roland Mohr as chairman of the club.
0 points
The hateful zero is currently still on the ranking. The club is having to follow that a bit. Extra annoying is that this season it already played a draw against ZVV Eindhoven, but after the winter break the points were halved and so Scagha was back at zero.
