For many years, education in Flanders was one of the best students in the class, even in Europe. Today that education is a concern. The level is falling, the workload is rising and there are too few teachers. According to Flemish education minister Ben Weyts, teachers should do less. “They perform too many tasks that are actually for the parents or for society.”
