‘Renze Klamer is a bit in his stomach with André Hazes Jr. blunder’

André Hazes jr. was in Renze Klamer’s talk show on Sunday evening to play his regular tune (addiction, new music style, family quarrel, etc. etc.). Prior to the broadcast, he was quite surprised to find quite a few bottles of beer in his dressing room. “Someone didn’t read the memo!” he screeched in an Instagram post.story.

Memo from Andre

Private boss Evert Santegoeds thinks it’s spicy. He says in Show news: “It is precisely in the memo that seems to have been sent and the receipt of which has never been confirmed by the makers of the program that it says: ‘No alcoholic beverages for Hazes in the dressing room.’ They were there and then you have to be firm in your shoes.”

He thinks that Renze is making a big mistake here. “Dré is doing well and he has stayed away from that drink for a long time, but then you shouldn’t experience things like this too often, just before a live broadcast that you think: I used to have a nice cut in my nose.”

Wake up

Ronald Molendijk thinks it’s a huge blunder. “You make a news programme, Renze op Zondag. Looks like you got it anyway. Then I think: someone from production should wake up with a fright. I work a lot with artists and work closely with a very good singer. He sometimes eats with us in the studio.”

He continues: “I had bought very nice Italian bake-off bread. She said, “Is there any alcohol in that bread?” I say, “What are you talking about?” So we turn that packaging around and there is actually some alcohol in the bread. She says, “Then I don’t want it.” She says: ‘I’m just so afraid that that one hook in my subconscious will wake something up.’”

To watch out

You really have to be careful for alcoholics, says Ronald. “I’m not saying that’s also the case with André, but you’re not cured of an addiction in one go.”

Colleague Leontien van Moorsel: “Everyone knows that these are the difficult moments for Dré. Just before you go into a live broadcast.”

In their stomach

Evert states that Renze and his editors are very concerned. “They say they are not sure, but probably no memo was received.”

“In any case, it has not been read, that much is clear, but they are a bit upset about it. They find it very annoying, but no one can really explain how the beer got into the dressing room.”
