Released at the end of May Eva Kaili will travel to the European Parliament in Strasbourg on Monday | News

Kaili was released from electronic surveillance under conditions two weeks ago. She spent five months in jail for this. Her work trip to Strasbourg is also her first trip abroad. She has been given permission to leave our country for this purpose.

“The Brussels council chamber has decided, with the agreement of investigating judge Michel Claise and magistrate at the federal prosecutor’s office Raphaël Malagnini, that Kaili can travel to Strasbourg, but only to perform her duties,” say the lawyers of the Greek former vice-president of the European Parliament, Sven Mary and Michalis Dimitrakopoulos, to the online news magazine Politico. A spokesman for the public prosecutor’s office confirms this.

According to Mary and Dimitrakopoulos, Kaili is not allowed to go anywhere in France for any reason other than work without the permission of the investigating judge.
