Reflections on the past | News

The work is based on “Danzón Park or the story of the hero and the traitor”original text by the Cordoban playwright Aristides Vargas who had to go into exile in Ecuadoras a consequence of the threats received in 1975.

On a dance floor, “while the stars fall, taking all the light, taking away the moments in which we were happy, the music makes us dance until the silence drowns us.” There, Arches (Daniel Cukierblat)is a retired hero, tormented by a counselor in the middle of the night.

The hero is threatened by his past, the only thing he has left is Leda’s love (Brenda Galindo), his wife. These are no longer the glorious years and his retirement is about to condemn him to oblivion.

It runs on Fridays the 15th, 22nd and 9/29 at 8:30 p.m. and Sundays the 1st and 10/8 at 8 p.m.
