Captain Hamari Traoré is leaving FC Stade Rennes for Champions League contenders Real Sociedad San Sebastián. At LaLiga fourth, the 31-year-old right-back signed a contract until June 30, 2025 with an option for a further year and is the first new signing.
The Malian international, who is also with Bayer Leverkusen has been linked, made 239 appearances for Stade Rennes in six years, in which he contributed six goals and 24 assists. “It opened a door for me and I’m very happy,” said Traoré. “I come here to try to grow together and to aim even higher.”
