According to “Sky”, there has already been an “intensive and concrete” exchange between those responsible for the royal and Alonso’s consultant Inaki Ibanez. However, a contact with Bayer Leverkusen has not yet been made.
What the broadcaster also reports: The royal would have to pay a rich transfer for the coach. A Bayer request amount of 15 to 20 million euros is mentioned.
Alonso had recently left his future with the Werkelf. “It is not a good moment to talk about the future. We are in a very important moment this season,” he said on Friday. The Spaniard’s contract is dated until 2026.
