Lorca (dpa) – Real Madrid has further extended its lead in the Spanish football championship. One day after pursuers FC Sevilla drew 1-1 against Rayo Vallecano, Madrid won 3-0 (0-0) at RCD Mallorca.
Real’s lead over second-placed Sevilla grew to ten points with the win at the Estadi de Son Moix. The goals were scored by Vinicius Junior (55th) and goalscorer Karim Benzema (77th/penalty, 82nd) with his 21st and 22nd goals of the season.
