RB Leipzig’s new coach Zsolt Löw should definitely vacate his position again in summer. “We have a clear plan for the profile. We have a clear idea of how we want to play football. Accordingly, we will have talks and present a convincing solution,” said sports director Marcel Schäfer.
Löw took over the coaching office on the Sunday after Marco Rose’s separation and is to return to the team of global football chief Jürgen Klopp after the season. For the first time on the sidelines, Thomas Tuchel’s long-time assistant on Wednesday (8:45 p.m./ZDF) is in the cup semi-final at VfB Stuttgart.
There, Löw should not “reinvent football,” says Schäfer. “It is about putting our strengths in the foreground, bringing new winds and new energy in.” The team should bring more life on the square.

Schäfer will lead to negotiations with the new coach and also get the Klopp Council. The 40-year-old defended the surprising separation from Rose at the present time: “I may be someone who holds on a coach for longer than others.
