This year’s transfer summer has it all. This is because the clubs are allowed to sign players for the first time in two different periods. Due to the club World Cup, the first transfer window for the participating clubs was open from June 1st to June 10th. The regular transfer window then extends from July 1st to September 1st.
RB Leipzig is still looking for a new trainer. In the past few weeks, ex-Bremen coach Ole Werner has been a favorite on the vacant post. But as the “kicker” and the TV broadcaster Sky now report unanimously, negotiations with Werder have become a transfer for the only exempted coach, whose contract is still running until summer 2026.
According to the reports, Bremen demands around six million euros from Leipzig to release the coach. According to Sky, however, Leipzig is at a maximum of three million euros for Werner and his coaching staff. Should no deal come about, Leipzig’s sports director Marcel Schäfer “Kicker” and according to Sky, Matthias Jaissle has now considered an alternative. The 37-year-old is currently training Al-Nahry in Saudi Arabia.
Jaissle comes from the RB universe, started his coaching career in the youth of Leipzig and later also coached Red Bull Salzburg before the money attracted him to Saudi Arabia. Now there could be apparently a return to the brawl. According to reports, the first contact is said to have already existed.
According to a media report, Xavi Simons wants to leave RB Leipzig in the upcoming transfer period. According to the British portal “The Athletic”, the 22 -year -old offensive player informed the Bundesliga club his change of change. Leipzig did not respond to an inquiry.
Simons came to Saint-Germain to Saxony in the summer of 2023 on loan from Paris Saint-Germain and was firmly hired in January for 50 million. Despite ten goals and nine templates as the second best scorer, the Dutch international could not avoid missing the international starting places. According to the media, Leipzig does not seem to be averse to the wish of his player. However, the Saxons present a transfer fee of at least 70 million euros, since the contract with Simons is still valid until the end of June 2027.
Florian Wirtz’s cancellation (to Liverpool FC) is still in pain. It is still planned. The latest object of desire and desired player became Nico Williams, who plays in Bilbao. However, this transfer also seems to have been done.
