AC Oulu published two new contracts in honor of Midsummer.

An attacker seen with the owls as well Rasmus Karjalainen, 26, returns to his hometown with a big deal. The Karelian agreement also covers the next period and includes an option for the period 2024.

Karjalainen, who scored 13 A national matches and scored one goal in them, moved from Oulu to PS Kemi in 2017. In Kemi and after KuPS, Karjalainen rose to the Veikkausliiga striker association.

Since then, he has played at Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands and at Örebro and Helsingborg in Sweden.

The Karelian struggled for a place in the European Championship group, but a carotid injury ruined the race dreams. A serious injury came while he was playing in Örebro when the ball hit the head of Karelia.

Karjalainen has played a total of 75 Veikkausliiga matches in his career and scored 27 goals in them.

Another acquisition of the Oulu club is the Central Defender Cristhian Valencia, who played for SJK from last season until the start of this season. The 30-year-old defender also signed a comprehensive agreement with AC Oulu until the end of next season, which includes an option from 2024 onwards.

MTV Sports was the first in Finland to report on the transfer of Karelia to AC Oulu.
