Cyclist Nils Eekhoff is preparing for his second Tour de France. The rider from Rijsenhout has been selected by his Team DSM for the most important cycling race of the year.

Eekhoff had an unhappy spring. In Paris-Nice he fell and the rider suffered a concussion. As a result, he did not race for two months. At the beginning of May he made his comeback in the Tour of Dunkirk and then he rode the ZLM Tour.

The Tour de France starts next Friday in Copenhagen, Denmark. “We are all looking forward to the Tour. We are really going for stage wins this year,” said DSM coach Matt Winston.
